We support our customers in the analysis of the needs of their facilities to increase their productivity, quality and safety. This may involve automating manual processes, robotizing all or part of the production processes, migrating current systems to other technologies, increasing the integration of field control equipment with computer or monitoring systems, and any other changes that improve production.
Control systems engineering
We design the control system that best suits your installation, thanks to our knowledge of the different architectures (DCS, PLC + SCADA, etc.), our experience with the majority of manufacturers of these systems and our ability to integrate different systems of the plant. The result of the design will be an installation adapted to your current needs and any future expansions. We draft the various documents related to this phase: functional specification, system architecture and design specification.
PLC + HMI/SCADA solutions
We are experts in PLC + HMI/SCADA-based control solutions from most manufacturers in the market. We have extensive experience in both current systems and obsolete equipment, which gives us the ability to perform new installations, modify existing installations or upgrade obsolete platforms to current systems. We have libraries for the main PLC + HMI/SCADA platforms that allow standardization and reduce programming and commissioning times.
DCS solutions
We work with the DCS systems of the main manufacturers, from the architectural design phase to their implementation, through the hardware configuration and the programming of control strategies and displays. We have experience with DCS communication modules – PLC, DCS security systems, etc.
Industrial electricity
We develop all the low voltage electrical work inherent to our automation projects, including in ATEX zones. We carry out the design and sizing of electrical installations, both for the power and control parts; we generate electrical diagrams, both new as well as modifications and digitization from paper format; We build the electrical panels, verify them in our workshop through FAT tests and install them in their final location; we carry out the complete wiring from the control cabinets to the sensors, actuators and motors in the field; We carry out the signal test to verify the operation of the elements installed and their correct connection to the control system.
GaMP
We work in all phases of an automation project according to GaMP standards (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice), FDA Part 11 compliance and ISA-88 Batch Control.
Batch processes control
We use the main tools on the market for the control of Batch processes for both small equipment and large installations with complex formulations.
Servos – shaft control
We have experience in the integration of servomotor systems based on the main manufacturers, both in new installations and in migration from other less precise motorizations.
Security systems (SIS)
We are accustomed to working with security PLCs from the main manufacturers. We are familiar with the regulations and the specific instructions for the various types of security measures to be integrated.
Control systems migrations
We migrate the control systems of the main brands, replacing obsolete equipment with current solutions from the same or a different manufacturer. Alongside the migration, improvements can be added, always looking for an optimal solution in terms of cost, development duration and equipment downtime.
Documentation
We draft all of the documentation related to an automation project: URS, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications, I/O List, Alarm List, Interlock List, Operation Manual, EC Marking Documentation, etc. We also carry out the approval of documents according to standards such as GaMP.
Training
We have training courses on the different technologies we work with, as well as an R&D laboratory equipped with hardware and software related to these technologies. In addition to internal use, we offer our clients the option of participating in these courses or other specific ones of interest.
