Syspro is a member of the consortium of the Biogreen project, an R&D&I project whose objective is to develop a green biorefinery concept from biomass, using non-competitive crops with food and high yields, to obtain high value-added products such as bioplastics and cellulose acetate membranes, as well as fertilizer producers. The project will help boost the bioeconomy concept and integrate the circular economy model in traditionally agricultural areas, which will improve their competitiveness.

The Biogreen project will be developed in collaboration with the companies Agroamb Prodalt, Galchimia, Norvento and Idener, as well as with the technology centers AINIA and CETIM, and is subsidized by the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competition. It was one of the projects selected by CDTI in the last edition of the INNTERCONECTA program.
